About Tess

Welcome! I’m Tess, and I’m so glad you’re here. My yoga journey began unexpectedly, over 8 years ago, during an outdoor class in a local park. I remember feeling both challenged and at peace as I moved through the poses, and I knew that yoga was something I wanted to pursue. Over the years, I’ve experienced countless benefits from yoga, from physical strength and flexibility to mental clarity and emotional grounding.

When I was presented with the opportunity to do my Yoga Teacher Training course (YTT200), my initial goal was simply to deepen my own practice and understanding. I wanted to learn more about the philosophy, anatomy, and purpose behind each movement. However, as the training progressed, I felt something shift. Sharing yoga with others brought me so much joy and fulfillment—seeing even just one session bring peace or a sense of accomplishment to someone sparked a passion within me to teach beyond the course.

Since then, I’ve been working towards creating a warm, inclusive space where everyone, regardless of experience level, can explore yoga and reconnect with their mind and body. I believe that yoga is about much more than just movement; it’s about discovering inner balance, resilience, and self-awareness. My teaching style focuses on Vinyasa flow, with an emphasis on aligning breath and movement, encouraging a mindful approach to the practice that supports both the physical and mental well-being of each individual.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me. Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or looking to deepen your practice, I’m here to support and guide you every step of the way.
